Goals

I once created a list of a set of goals that I wanted to accomplish, so I figured I’d do it again. I did it when I created my ‘Wishlist’, but that turned into more of a list of stuff I would like to purchase. This is a list of a stuff I would like to accomplish by the time I’m 40. The bolded items are what I’m currently working on. So here we go:

  • Learn to play guitar
  • Learn to play piano
  • Learn to play the violin
  • Sail to Catalina as Captain
  • Create an iPhone application and get it on the App Store
  • Get my IFR license
  • Get my multi-engine, high-performance and complex ratings
  • Get married
  • Travel to France
  • Travel to Italy
  • Travel to Japan
  • Travel to Australia
  • Learn to speak french fluently
  • Learn to speak italian fluently
  • Learn to speak japanese fluently
  • Learn to speak portuguese fluently
  • Work at a video game company
  • Make my own beer ( and label/sell it )
  • Make my own cheese ( and like it .. )
  • Learn Python
  • Learn Ruby
  • Snowboard at Whistler
  • Go to a Stanley Cup game
  • Go to a Super Bowl
  • Have a six pack ( not of beer! )
  • Be in a magazine article
  • Be on TV
  • Learn to fence and compete in a tournament
  • Take a digital photography class
  • Own a horse ( a Friesian )
  • Obtain a CCIE
  • Enter a BBQ contest
  • Visit Hearst Castle
  • Own my own business
  • Get my shoulder tattoo redone
  • Live in a foreign country
  • Obtain my BS degree in CS

  • Chrome on Windows >

    Seems like Chrome on Windows Vista doesn't like to display the font-face used in this theme - going to have to figure out an alternative!

  • Formatting changes complete >

    So the formatting changes are complete - the pre code looks alot nicer now!

  • Busy busy busy >

    Been really busy at work moving forward with Opsware and trying to reach our milestones. Hopefully I'll have some updates in a bit about what's been going on and some more info on our progress with the tool.

  • Updated Goals and Wishlist >

    I updated my goals and set the new year to 40 years old ( 10 years to go! ) - also updated my wishlist since the big 3 - 0 is coming.

  • Gotta love WP >

    An upgrade in less than 5 minutes - it's no wonder WP is the choice of bloggers everywhere.
