Michael Murray, 30 years old and a sheriff deputy, died yesterday in his home. Mike was one of my best friends all through grammar school. We went on each other’s family vacations, stayed up late and had plenty of good times. We grew apart a bit in high school, although we still hung out occasionally and we never met up again after but it’s still hard to think that one of my childhood friends is now gone.
My heart goes out to his family and friends. Mike was a great guy, always laughing and being thoughtful of others. The world is a lesser place without him in it.
