.. for letting myself get as fat as I am now. 208 pounds people. 208!! I’ve never been over 200 a day in my life and now I’m 208 pounds! This is what relationship comfort will do to you.
So I started up the running again. And the diet. And we’re going to add another thing into the mix - P90X. It’s an extreme workout that a few of my friends have just started. There is no way this temple of a body is going to be over 200 pounds. So beginning today, I will weigh myself every morning and update the blog with my new weight. I’m actually starting the P90X program next Monday, but in the mean time, I’ve setup a Goals page that I was able to link my Nike+ information in. My real goal is to reach the 100 mile milestone! I’ll update the weight on that page as well.
Wish me luck!

Hi Steve,
I know how you feel. Weight is always a hard issue. Announcing your goals to the world often helps I’ve found. You might want to also look at your diet. I found that simple changes like cutting back on sweet tea and regular pepsi made a big difference in my calorie intake.
Good Luck with your goals,
Ed Anderson

Thanks Ed, I appreciate the encouraging words. I cleaned out the kitchen this weekend and went to the grocery store. I totally agree with you that just simple things can make a change in diet so much easier, like replacing bacon with turkey bacon, using egg whites instead of the whole egg and other such things. I’m hoping with my 90 day bootcamp exercise and a good, healthy diet that I’ll be back in shape soon.
