Yes, powercrap! Otherwise known as Symark’s PowerPassword, PowerBroker suite. These two little products cost quite a bundle to place on every single computer in your network. They also have some limits to their functionality, for one being that they don’t integrate TOGETHER. At least, our technical team hasn’t quite figured out how to do that yet. PowerBroker, I’ll admit, could have some cool functions if we took care to use them, but we don’t. It’s like buying a Ferrari for going to the grocery markert. It’s just too big of a product for what we need. And c’mon, what the hell is with this branding? Powerthis, Powerthat. I think the Tiger could use a PowerFist. And only he knows why!

Anyways, I’m looking for some good information towards implementing sudo/ldap as a authentication/root permission scheme in a multiple multi-tier network. Man, that’s a mouthful. So if you have information, pass it my way, k? Thanks.

 That’s why I need to purchase this! Only a measely $2,700! But WOW. I’d never get lost again.  Well, ok, when I drink too much there’s nothing to stop me from getting really, really lost.  But still, it’d sure improve my chances!

 Anyways, I need to take my camera out some more.  Jeremy and I are thinking of making a trip up to Mt. Pinos soon to take some shots with the camera.  I gotta get it focusing right and all first though.  I need to take some more pictures of the dogs as well.  But that’s me, the person who needs to do everything but does nothing.  Cuz I’m LAZY!

Just kidding.  I’m not a jew.  Not really.  Sometimes I wish I was, but I’m not.  Maybe I’d have more money.

Really, nothing is going on.  I still work at Digital Insight and The Tiger is still a homo kitty cat.  In other worlds, I fly planes, dance with hot women and eat $1,000 sushi.  But unfortunately, I awaken to a large german shepherd moving around on the bed and then deciding the most comfortable position happens to be the one where he places his ass on my head.  Quite a far stretch from beautiful gyrating females, but hey, it’s a step closer.  Sorta.

Anyway, I need to get back to studying Ruby ( I’d link the site but I’m lazy and I don’t know it off the top of my head. ).
